Charlie Brown is a sweet but people-shy, handsome male 61 lb blue tick coonhound.  He is very good with other dogs and doesn't chase cats.  Charlie Brown wandered up out of the woods at the beginning of August, very hungry, and hung around his foster's home. She enticed him with food into a large pen where he lived until we could give him his vaccines, etc.  He is a very sociable with his dog buddies and loves to swim and hike with them and people he knows. He does not like to be kenneled alone but is content if he has a buddy with him. Charlie Brown was neutered on 8/29/13, tested heartworm negative and given his rabies shot.  He is now completely vetted.  He is a loveable blue tick coonhound and will eventually make a great family pet for a family willing to work to gain his trust.  His buddy is Buster Brown, a Treeing Walker Coonhound who can also be seen on this site.
