Petunia just came into rescue, pulled from a kill shelter before she was to be euthanized. She is a sweet girl who loves car rides! She's eager to jump in and go, smiling the whole time!
Petunia was picked up as a stray, so not much is known about her past, but she's really thin. Her jaw was apparently broken at some point, but it was healed by the time she came to us. One tooth was pointing straight out and had to be removed, so she's got some recovering to do. Her foster mom thinks her little crooked mouth adds to her charm though.
Petunia should be available by November, 2012. She gets along fine with other dogs, big and small! Stay tuned for updates, as she continues to settle into her foster home.

More about Petunia
All of our adoptable pets are housed with foster families. When age appropriate, they have been spay/neutered, crate, leash and house trained. They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.
Since all of our animals are housed with fosters, we ask that you submit a completed application before we answer individual inquiries. Submitting an application never obligates you to adopt but we will have a better understanding of your needs so that we can better answer your questions.
