Sunshine

Sunshine was found wandering and hungry when she was just 6 months old. On top of that, she had been shot and had a bullet in her shoulder. Dr. Talley thought it would heal without intervention and as usual, she was right. After Sunshine was well, she went to NY and is in charge of two boys and a mom. She also learned about that fluffy white mud, called snow up North (a quote from Dr. Talley) on Christmas 2012

Tangi

Tangi was rescued during Hurricane Isaac. She was tied to a tree with no food or shelter. As soon as she was healthy enough, she went to Random Rescue in Vt. where she never got past their vets office. One of the staff there fell in love with her and she now lives happily ever after with her own collection of sweaters because her mama worries that a southern dog will be cold in New England.

Butterball

Butterball went all the way to Massachusetts to find his forever home. And now this Louisiana dog spends his days playing in the snow and napping with his dad!

Roux

Little miss Roux found the perfect home right in her own back yard, She has a fur sister and a Mom that love and cherish her. Being a Pitt Bull/Dachshund isn't easy but now she has a family to share her toys with!!

Angel

Angel was in foster for over a year. First her puppies had to be weaned, then she went through heart worm treatment and finally she was spayed. By the time she was ready for adoption, her foster mom was very attached to her and very uncertain if she even wanted Angel to be adopted. But all of that changed with a chance meeting at another organization's adoption day in Covington, La. Angel and her foster mom just went down to visit but Angel caught the eye of one of the volunteers and it turned out to be the best home possible for Angel. The love and commitment of the family convinced Angel's foster mom that THIS WAS THE HOME Angel deserved. Now, Angel has a fur brother, horses to help feed and care for and a family to look out for. And these pictures prove that she is loved and flourishing.
