Ruger is missing

On Thursday, August 25, 2011, our 7 month old pit bull puppy Ruger was taken from our residence.  Ruger weighs about 70 pounds and was neutered the first week of August.  He has hereditary mange mostly on the right side of his face.  He is black with a white marking on his chest and white on the tips of his paws.  At the time, his ears were not cut.  I am attaching a picture and asking that you PLEASE contact me should someone bring him in.  We feel that someone traveling through our neighborhood saw that we weren't home and took him. There has been much pipelining going on in the Dunn, Louisiana area.  Some of the people just bring in equipment and then turn around and leave.  We've searched our neighborhood to no avail.  I have contacted the police departments and veterinarians, as well as put out posters, run an ad in the local paper, and driven miles looking for him.  Ruger is a sweet pit bull.  He is not mean. At the time, he was wearing a green collar with a blue bone shaped name tag and rabies tag.   Again, I would appreciate it if you would contact me should someone bring him in.  Thank you!  Vicki Russell, 318-282-6402
