Rebel
Rebel was one of 5 puppies found in Delhi in a ditch. They were in very poor health and 2 of the puppies died at Dr. Morris's office. Rebel was always the weakest of the 3 that survived. Right before they were slated to go to Vt. to Random Rescue, Rebel prolapsed his rectum. We had it repaired and he stayed with Dr. Talley and Vicky while his siblings went to Vt., Rebel prolapsed again, and again Dr. Talley repaired it. The second time, he went for 8 days without a problem and we thought we were out of the woods. But, he prolapsed again as as Dr. Talley had warned, after the 3rd time, he probably would not respond to further treatment. We made the decsision not to put him through any more stress and discomfort and he went quietly to sleep while Trish was holding him.
