Scout (aka Sunka) is a 90 lb Aluska, a husky and malamute cross, who is only 7 months old.  His former owners are getting old and one of them has Parkerson's disease.  They don't have the energy to deal with a young dog like this.  He would wander to the highway so they had to put him on a chain.  They then decided to surrender him so that a better home could be found.  This dog needs exercise.  He is not yet house-trained but that is being worked on.  He is not aggressive towards other dogs - no tests have been done with cats!  He needs to be trained not to stand up and put his paws on you while licking you.  He will make a great pet for some family!

 All of our adoptable pets are housed with foster families. When age appropriate, they have been spay/neutered, crate, leash and house trained. They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.
 Since all of our animals are housed with fosters, we ask that you submit a completed application before  we answer individual inquiries. Submitting an application never obligates you to adopt but we will have a better understanding of your needs so that we can better answer your questions.
