DHS does not have a facility. All of our animals are housed in foster homes. Therefore, we require having a completed adoption application on file before we ask our foster families to rearrange their schedules for a meet and greet or answer individual inquiries. And, please be patient, we are staffed only by volunteers. It may be a few days before you hear from us.
Mickey D is an 8 month old male Catahoula Cur mix who weighs 37 lbs. He is a playful with the other dogs, and has a lot of puppy energy! Mickey D is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. He walks well on a leash after he settles a bit but has been living in an outside kennel so not house trained. This will be a fun dog for a "loving" family.

They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.
