Champ is the skinniest dog Dr. Sullivan said that he had ever seen that survived. He was left in a cardboard box inside the fence that surrounds his clinic. He was so starved and weak that he couldn't even lift his head. He could only look at them and hope for the compassion he hadn't known before. They didn't have the heart to have him PTS. Over the months, he has gained weight and some of his strength back, but he still isn't able to use his hind legs properly. He has no trouble wobbling around and going potty but he stumbles often.

Special Needs: Several times, the decison was made to end Champs ordeal but every time he changed their minds with his sweet dispositon and spirit. He still has problems getting his back end to follow his front. But he never loses his good humor. He is currently not on any medications and Dr. Kelly says he may make a full recovery if he has a home where he can exercise. Can't you help Champ?
