All of our adoptable pets are housed with foster families. When age appropriate, they have been spay/neutered, crate, leash and house trained. They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.

Ricky is a happy boy. He is up for fun and games all the time. He is a Blue heeler mix so a bit energetic but not hyper.  He is neutered and weighs about 45 lbs. Ricky is playful and affectionate but is still getting used to people. He is pretty much leash and crate trained but has not spent much time inside the house. When he gets some one on one attention, he will be a wonderful family pet. Ricky is a very bligh heart worm positive but is being treated with the slow method and DHS will continue to provide his medication for 6 months until he is retested.
